Very, very slippery out there!! Dangerous!! It was snowing the entire time. Was awesome. Fabulous run in spite of the hazardous conditions! Swam laps at night. About 25 minutes. I lose count of how many laps. Have to learn to swim freestyle. Have a triathlon in July. I should be able to figure it out by then, right? Well, I don't know......if I can't count laps, maybe I can't swim either!!! LOL |

Roads were so very slushy today. Slip-sliding everywhere. Wind was bitter cold. It was a great run, though. Rollerbladed for an hour with kids. Does that count as an additional workout? Should be playing basketball tonight, too. Three workouts in one day -- FABULOUS!!! Shot baskets for an hour. Not enough people showed up to actually play a game. Still was a workout. Went to the gym. Did speed workout on treadmill and swam 7 laps. Rewarded myself with 7 minutes in the hot tub! So tired. Got home at midnight.

| | Today was an awesome run. The wind was bitter cold and very strong. The roads were so slippery. Almost fell countless times. Kept asking ourselves why we were running in such conditions. Did not see any other runners! The last 1/2 mile stretch was so tough. Wind blowing against us. When it was all over we had a feeling of great accomplishment! We did it! Now, hopefully, I can get to the gym tonight and get in some weights and/or swimming. |

Played game of church bball this morning then went out for a 65 minute run. Ran solo. Listened to audio book...that helped. Avg mile pace was 9:43. Happy with that because the first half the run was all uphill and the road was snowy. Had to be careful. Dumb dog scared me to pieces.
Bought new shoes. Yesterday was first day wearing them. Starting the shoe manager to keep better track of wear. I better start saving $ now. It seems like whenever I need new shoes there isn't any money and they are so expensive!!!
Going to gym tonight. Maybe swim, maybe weights, maybe more basketball! |

| | Ran with my running partner this a.m. Had a great weekend so I talked to the whole time. It's hard to run uphill and talk! Weather was a nice 30 degrees. Minimal or no wind. AMP was 9:17. Really happy w/ that. Mile six was 8:36!! We are like horses headed to the barn.....as soon as we know we are close to home we pick up the pace! Not exactly the most flattering of analogies but that's the way it is! Hope to get to the gym tonight and do some weights, bball, and swim. |

ok.....have some questions here! The Nap Time field.......is that where I document the amount I sleep after coming home from my run and jumping back into bed??? After a shower, of course! My kids have been off-track for the past three weeks so I would go running, come home and shower and jump back into bed for and hour and a half or two!!! Then I would fight with the bed monster and finally crawl out of bed around 10:00. Kids are back in school so I was at work at 9:00 a.m.!!! Miracle!
And then the weight field.......is that pre-workout weight or post-workout??? lol You know that post-workout weight is better, so that is the one I am going to use!
I guess it is almost pointless to keep track of miles on shoes when I only have one pair but at least I will know when I should be replacing them for sure!
The run this a.m. was good, but the wind was so bitter, bitter cold!
It took everything I had to get to the gym tonight to do speed workout. Glad I went. It was good. Did 400s at about 7:30 pace! Haven't ran that fast in a long time. It was fun. |

| | Running partner sent a text at 0500 saying she was sick. I am so sorry she is sick but I am so glad that I didn't have to get up and run. Went to bed at 0130!! Need more sleep. Maybe tomorrow night. Don't know when/if I will get in a workout today. Might have to triple up workouts tomorrow. Have a bball game in the a.m. Don't know if that counts as a workout, though. It's church ball! |

| | Played bball game. Ran 70 minutes. AMP - 9:20. Run felt great. Knee was really swollen in the evening. I think it is because I got knocked down a couple times during the game. Probably not a good idea to run on it afterwards, but I did. |
