Master's swim class this a.m.  Swam lots.  Lost track of how many yards.

Rode my bike to work.  5.35 miles.  15.6 avg mph.  Have to ride home and find time to put in another 10 miles somehow.  Need more hours in the day!

This morning's run was good.  So tired.  Need more sleep.  Lost the fight with the bed monster and went back to sleep after running and showering.

Didn't ride bike to work cuz my legs said NO and needed to take the car to the shop for an oil change and to see what has been leaking for months. 

Weight loss, or rather lack of weight loss, is depressing.  Been tracking weight since September and can't say I have lost any!!!!  A pound or two here or there but they keep finding me and coming back!  For the past month I have been biking and swimming several times a week in addition to my running.  Hasn't helped.  So, I have come to the conclusion that it is my eating that is doing me in!  Today I will not eat French fries.  Had a chili w/ my combo meal instead.  Is that any better?

Anyway, still need to bike 25 miles tonight and swim 1500 yds.  The question is WHEN???  Might be able to get some miles in while boys are at kung-fu.  Probably will get to the gym at 11:00 p.m. to swim.  Who needs sleep, right?

avg 9:23.  It was a good run, if a bit sluggish.  Good conversation with running partner. 

Also swam 1000 yds.  Biked 15 miles on the stationary bike.

Running partner canceled this morning.  I was so grateful.  So tired.

I biked 25 miles on the stationary bike.  Watched the game between Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.  It was so fun to watch.  Made me want to play really bad.

Then swam 1250 yds.  Finished right at midnight.  I wonder if there will ever be a time in my life that I can train during normal hours.

Didn't run today.  Biked 38 miles.  5 miles to work.  26 training miles (burned 1177 cal, avg 14 mph, max 35 mph, 1:52)  7 miles picking up kids, riding to scouts, to the gym, back to scouts and home.  I'm tired.

Really need to cut 20 minutes off my biking time!  Does anyone know any miraculous ways to do that?

Swam 1850 yds.  It was a good swim.  Wish the gym stayed open longer!  Midnight is too early to shut it down!

Run was really slow this a.m.  I need more sleep.  Running partner has pulled hamstring.  We'll be better next week. 

Have 35 mile bike ride planned for tomorrow!

This morning was a really slow run.  At the end of mile 5 we caught up with two other runners.  Competitive spirit kicked in and we passed them and had a really fast mile #6.  It was great.  Gotta get more energy in morning!

Had to take bike to the shop on Saturday.  Pick it up today and hope to get 20 miles in tonight.  Then off to the gym to swim.  1000 yds is on the schedule tonight.  Oh, joy! :-)

Good run.  A bit windy.  Loved standing on the pier at Daybreak and just taking in the view.  Love just standing there, listening to the water....watching the ducks.....catching my breath.....summoning the energy to finish the run!

Went to Master's Swim this a.m.  Swam 1600 yds.  It was good. 

Don't know why the weight isn't just falling off with all the swimming, biking, and running I have been doing for the past seven weeks!  Oh well!  Guess I'm destined to be pleasantly plumb, by my standards.  It could be worse!  I am so grateful that regardless of the shape of my body it can do the things I ask it to!  Good body!  Thank you, body!

Received a text from my running parter at 5:01 a.m.  It read, "I am waiting for your text."

Oftentimes when we meet in the early mornings, we ask each other why the other didn't read our mind and cancel the run.  So she was hinting to me to cancel.  I was more than happy to oblige as I was uber-tired!

I sent her a text that said, "So sorry, I have to cancel.  I huge purple and green dragon stepped on my pinky toe.  It is the size of a tennis ball.  Can't run today.  Will be good tomorrow."

It made us both laugh as we fell back to sleep!

Didn't run this a.m.  Donated blood last night.  Still felt a bit blah.  Will probably swim tonight and maybe stationary bike.  Singles volleyball, too.  This week has been tough to get myself going.  Weather hasn't helped.  Sometimes it seems like this blasted triathlon will never get here.  And sometimes it seems like it is coming too fast and I won't be prepared!  71 more days!

I can't believe I was running in the snow this morning!!!  What's up with that?  It was a good slow run.  Felt like a wimp for not doing the normal six miles, but running Provo City 1/2 marathon tomorrow.  Swam last night.  Didn't get the whole workout in because the gym felt it necessary to close at midnight.  What's up w/ that???  Gym shouldn't close until my workout is done!!!  :-)

Might play vball tonight.  Hope it doesn't ruin performance for tomorrow!  I hope it doesn't rain, snow, sleet, or hail tomorrow.
