I have to guess on the mileage because I forgot to charge my Garmin.  Silly me!

It was a great run.  Needed to run about 2 more miles.  Still have things to talk about!

The wind was cold as usual but about halfway through the run it died down.  It was really nice.

When I got home from running, my 14 yoa daughter came down the stairs to ask me something. The first words out of her mouth were, "I could smell you before I could see you!" It was priceless!

Biked for 30 minutes last night on the indoor trainer.  That was a killer!  It got the adrenaline going, though, and I was able to have the energy to unload/load the dishwasher and put in a load of laundry!

Swam 1000 yds last night. It felt really good. I got to the gym at 11:20 p.m. and the guy at the counter said, "Just so ya know, we close in 30 minutes." I looked at the clock and said, "Forty!" You can do a lot in 10 minutes....don't try to take my time from me!

I got my workout done and as I was swimming my cooldown laps, they turned the lights off! I love swimming in the pool with just the pool lights on!

It was hard to get up this morning, though.

I just couldn't get myself out of bed this a.m.  I SO need my running partner to motivate me, but she wasn't available.

I did play volleyball for 1 1/2 hours and basketball for an hour.  Does that equal at least a couple miles??

Ran with my running partner. It was a fabulous run.  Of course, it was windy which made it difficult.  One rude truck driver tried to run us off the road.  I hope he had an awful day!  ;-)

Took my car to the shop before I realized that I needed to do some grocery shopping.  Ugh!  So, I hitched up the bike trailer and rode to Macey's.  Ok, to be honest, my daughter pulled the trailer to the store, I pulled it on the way home.  Remind me not to buy two 20 packs of diet pepsi, milk, and ice cream when I have the bike trailer.  It was a tough 2.5 mile bike ride.

To top off my exercise for the day, I went dancing!  Had tons of fun!

This morning's run was fantabulous!!!  8:57 average pace.  Felt really good.  Don't know why we ran so fast up 90th south.  It was a tough stretch!

During the last 30ft of the sprint at the end I tweaked my ankle just a bit and almost bit the dust.  Grateful for the lamp pole that was close by!  I hung on for dear life!  LOL

No damage to the ankle.  Felt a bit of soreness for a couple strides after that, but was good in the end!

So thankful to my running partner.

Swam 1500 yds this a.m.  It felt ok.  Didn't push it too hard.  500 yds warm up.  4x200 w/ 20 sec between.  200 cooldown.

Meeting w/ tri coach tonight for biking--probably my weakest of the three sports.  Will definitely be eating humble pie tonight!

Single volleyball and/or basketball later tonight if all goes well at home.

Played vball and bball last night!  It was a fantastic night.  Basketball was amazing.  Had a few good steals and even made a 3 pointer!!!  It was so cool!  Counted that as today's workout!  Basketball is the equivalent of a speed workout, right? :-)

I am very grateful for construction sites that have clean port-a-potties!!! 

Other than the need of port-a-potties, it was a great run!  Had lots to talk with running partner about. 

Felt a bit drained during the first half of the run.  Started to feel better about mile 6.  We ran out onto the pier at the lake at Daybreak.  It was fun.  I offer my apologies to the seagulls that we disturbed!

Going to Vegas tomorrow for a week.  I have no idea how I'm going to get my workouts in!  Ugh!

I am in Vegas for the week.  My casino doesnt have a fitness room!  What's up with that?  I ran outside!  It was scary!  That could explain why my avg pace was 20 seconds faster!!! 

All in all it was a good run!  Missed having someone to talk to.

Because of the conference I am attending, I may not have time to run very often.  Hopefully at least two more times!

Still in Vegas.

It was so hard to wake up this a.m. to run.  Went to a place last night and listened to a band called Yellow Brick Road.  It was really good.  The lead singer is friends with some of the people I was with so didn't get out of there till late.

Returned to the hotel at 3:00 a.m.!  Got up at 7:15 a.m. to run.  The wind was crazy-strong.  I thought about going back to bed.  It took forever for my Garmin to find satellites......in the meantime I stood in the bitter wind freezing to death! ;-)

I ran on Boulder to Russell to Broadbent to Kimberly Ave, I think.  As I was about halfway done three police officers drove by really, really fast.  I thought about following them to see what the excitement was about.  Didn't because I was on a schedule and needed to get back.

About 1/2 mile from the end I checked the time.  According to my watch I had 35 minutes to be showered and out the door!  I panicked!!!

Sprinted back to the hotel!!!  As I approached the entrance I realized that my watch doesn't switch time zones!!!  I still had 1 1/2 hours!!!  LOL

My avg pace was 9:11.  I run faster in the dark.  When unknown persons/monsters might be chasing me, I tend to run faster!

One more run in Vegas and then I'll be home!!!  I usually don't run on Sundays but I will view it as a nice Sunday leisurely run.

It was a great run this morning!  It was so good to be with my running partner again!  I felt a bit sluggish because of my hectic week in Vegas, not enough sleep as usual and eating way too much food!  Buffets are really bad for me!  Especially when cheesecake is for dessert!

There wasn't very much wind this morning so we ran south along 4000 w, then west on 9000 S.  We were booking it up 90th.  It felt good to push it!

We almost got hit by cars three times!!  We were both wearing vests and I had a flashing headlamp on.  What more do we need to do?  Oh yeah!  Run in the daylight!  :)

After running I went to the gym and swam 1000 yds.  Felt strong.

In the evening, while the kids were at Scouts and Young Women, I went to the gym and swam again.  I didn't keep track of the yards.  Swam for about 35 minutes.  Swam drills.  I was exhausted.

I went to single's vball later.  Stayed for about 1/2 hour.  The game wasn't very exciting.  Then I went to the gym.....again.  This time I shot baskets.  It was awesome!  The 3 pointers were going in!

Today was NOT an awesome run.  I couldn't find my socks.  I couldn't find my headlamp.  Had to steal batteries from kids iHome speakers for the headlamp.  I felt horrible.  Was five minutes late to meet with my running partner. 

The wind was so strong today and brilliant me had this idea to run our regular backwards which put us into the wind for longer!

In the end, it was a good run.  Last 1/2 mile was a 7:46 pace.  That's what happens when the the strong wind is with me instead of against me.  That was part was fun!

Might play vball and bball again tonight.

I went to Master's Swim this a.m.  Swam a timed 500 yd - 9:18.35  I was happy with that.  I haven't timed that long before.

Swam a total of 1900 yds, I think.  It felt great!

Later in the morning I got hit with a migraine.  It put me down hard!  Now it is afternoon and I'm feeling much better.  I think I will run and bike tomorrow, weather permitting!
