I'm a slacker. First posting in July. I have been running, but not posting! I'll go back and post retroactively! LOL
Ran this morning w/ a few ladies from my ward. They are just beginning but it was fun to be able to run and talk w/o being winded. Usually can't do that w/ my regular running partner. Who, by the way, is injured. I'll be lucky to get her back in two weeks!!!! Oh, what's a runner to do??? |

avg mile pace: 8:38 - pretty happy w/ this pace considering I was running by myself. I miss my partner. I've had a hard time getting out and running w/o her. Motivation just hasn't been there and it's affecting everything, especially my attitude @ work.
After running, I sat on the step outside my front door, leaned my head back against the garage wall and took a nap. It was awesome but made me late for work! Oh, well! If only they would fire me!!! |

Ran w/ a couple ladies. Slower pace, but for some reason my muscles seemed like they had received a good workout!
Still miss my partner.
Racing on Thursday, but just got an email about the Toughest 10k. I'd love to do that, too, if I can find someone to carpool w/. |

Pioneer Classic (6.2 Miles) 00:48:43, Place overall: 21, Place in age division: 1 | | Quick question: Race Overall Place - Does that mean overall of each gender or everyone altogether? I think I was the 5th woman, but the results weren't broken down that way.
This was one tough race. I have never run so many ups and downs! It was awesome, but that hill in the beginning was enough to make me question my sanity. Why do we do this to ourselves?
The course said it was 6.2 miles, but my Garmin said it was only 5.9, so I don't know what to believe! Oh, well. It was a good race and I'm happy w/ my time and place.
