Wow!  I have really slacked on keeping this thing updated.  I shall repent! :-)

I completed Echo triathlon on July 10!  It was so awesome.  OK, it was very painful at times, but the swim was great!  That is the thing I was worried about most!  My overall time was 3:15 which I am happy with for my first one.  I am really happy w/ my run.  Average mile pace was 8:43.  No one passed me on the run.  The first two miles of the run were extremely difficult.  Had a stomach cramp like I have never had in my life!  It was intense.  After that went away, I just concentrated on picking off the next person in front of me.

I saw a girl in front of me by quite a ways and she started walking.  Decided then that she didn't deserve to beat me, so I picked up the pace and passed her and two others!  Wahoo!!!

Hoping to do Sprint triathlon on August 28.  Just need to find funding!  LOL

Anyway, todays run was nice and slow.  Kinda windy.  Talked the whole way.  Had to tell running partner everything that had since last time we had run together.
