Today was a tough rough.  Kept up with running partner pretty well for the first three miles.  Next four were a struggle.  I would tell myself to keep with her until the next corner or the next traffic light.  Managed to keep w/ her till the end, but had to work for it.

Her garmin showed 8:49 avg mile pace and mine was 9:00 min.  I think I'll go with hers!!!

So tired today.  Need to stop going to the gym at 11:00 p.m. and getting up at 5:00 a.m. to run!  Sleep is an important part of training, too, right???? :-)

Wow! Amazing to think that 1. a gym is open that late and 2. you were able to turn around and get up that early the morning after! Super job! I would never be able to do that!

Benn, it is a good thing they close at midnight, otherwise I would stay even longer. My problem is that when I am having a great workout, I have a hard time remembering how tired I am going to be in the morning if I don't go home!
