Tad slower than yesterday, but still a good run.  Was so tired last night I couldn't find the energy to bike to the gym to swim.  Car is in the shop. 

Didn't make it into St. George marathon so running partner and I are going to do TOU.  I'm excited.  Haven't done TOU before.

Funny thing about the lottery.....I entered as a group w/ my running partner and she got in, so I shoulda got in, too, right? She is going to send them an email. Might get in yet, but was getting excited about TOU. We'll see. One marathon or the other, I'll be there!

Mystery solved! One of us entered an extra letter in the group email address so we ended up being entered as individuals. Now the question of the day.....will they give me a spot, will they refund her money and give her spot to someone else, or are we simply out of luck?

Any suggestions? Anyone have any clout? Know any important people?

Personally, I think they should let you both in. I would call or email them and let them know what happened.

From what I have heard about SGM, you can talk and they will listen. Sounds like you have a pretty good case there. Good luck, and good running lately.

Thanks, Andy and flatlander. We emailed them and they said we are out of luck. They aren't making an exceptions this year. I'm not giving up yet. Maybe a phone call will be better. I just can't imagine training for a marathon by myself.....need my partner.
