This run was very difficult for me.  The first half is uphill.  I got up really, really late and didn't get out until 9:30 a.m.  By 10:00 a.m. it was already 93 degrees.  I didn't eat or drink anything before I went out.  Not good.

The one good thing about this run is that I did it.  Not only did I do it, but I did it by myself.  My running partner is out of town.  It took a lot to get out and run w/o her there with me.  And the heat...........it was a killer!!!

Time - 54:40

Avg - 9:05

Max - 6:04

I'm going to have to work just a tad bit harder if I want an 8:00/mile for the 1/2 marathon.

Super job getting out! When I am not running with a group or with someone I enjoy my mp3 player! It helps pass the time and the beat keeps me on pace. you must have a Garmin? Running in the summer should drive you to drink, drink drink.

Yep - love my Garmin. Bought it as a reward for doing the SLC marathon. Should have bought it before, but didn't!
