Today was a pretty good run, despite the slow pace.  I felt pretty good, even w/ little sleep.  Was too busy talking to get in a good sprint at the end.  Found 2 dimes!!!  I'm going to be rich!  I'm hungry but nothing sounds good to eat.  Folded and put away a load of laundry.  I'd rather go run another five miles!!!

Nice run today! :) Hey curious - is "max 6:29" your max sustained pace? How long were you able to keep that at?

Hahaha funny thing that you mentioned finding two dimes. I know as a kid I always watched my dad head out for a 3-4 miler and he'd come back with 8 or 9 soda cans he picked up on the way, one on each finger. He comes running up the driveway swinging his arms looking like a crazy alien runner and he smiles and goes "Hey look, Benn! I'm a professional runner! I made 45 cents today!". Well something must have stuck because now I do the same thing! HAhaha. Hope Tuesday is a great one for you!

Missee-do you take naps during the day? and how do you do it? I was able to do that up till 2 years ago, I got mono and it knocked me out. Now with running so much, i have to sleep. Where do you do your runs at? Im just off of 3200 W. and 104th south and always run up to daybreak but i occasionally run down 3200 w. to 7800 s. and down to 2200 w. and do a loop. The easiest run if you can drive to it is garner village. There was alot of people out this morning!

Benn - The max is just my Garmin said my max speed was -- I guarantee I didn't maintain it for very long.

My dad used to collect Indian beads that he would find in ant hills while out running! He would also collect little glass bottles.

Walter - I don't know what a nap is!!!I run in the Daybreak area on Mondays and Fridays. Run around the lake to the roundabout on 104 and 4000 and take the bridges, etc. Love the changing lights on the lake, though the water hasn't been turned on lately.

There were tons of people running in Daybreak yesterday. I want to know where they all were in February when it was 15 degrees!!!
